Group Helps Bring Both GOP House Wins on 9-13

The Conservative Action Fund helped win both races in Nevada and in New York last night.

The Conservative Action Fund has claimed victory in it’s Go Red 9/13 initiative. As results continued to come in, Both Mark Amodei in the 2nd Congressional district of Nevada, and Bob Turner in New York’s 9th district have been declared winners in their races.

CAF consultant Ali A. Akbar said,

“these victories show  that the American people have rejected the policies of President Obama. More than any election since the midterms, these races were a referendum on Obama’s failed record on job creation and economic growth.”

Conservative Action Fund was the only outside group active in both districts, with field teams, web videos and advertising, and online phone banks. “Go Red 9/13 highlights CAF’s commitment to putting dollars to action,” said CAF treasurer Shaun McCutcheon.

“We’re committed to sending conservative job creators to Washington who will fight to stop the attack on our economy from the left.”

As part of its Go Red 9/13 initiative, launched only 14 days before the election, Conservative Action Fund organized 122 volunteers to make over 4,400 calls using its online phone bank provided by Vice and Victory, a group with extensive special election experience.

CAF also sent 20 field team members into the two districts. CAF field teams spent upwards of 250 hours talking to constituents, knocking on over 1000 doors and handing out over 500 pieces of literature.  In short, these people were committed!

Akbar continued, “What’s most amazing about this victory is the way that CAF has been able to have a really profound impact in such a short time. We’ve only been around for four months, and already we’ve had an impact in three major elections.

What’s next for CAF?  Akbar stated, “We’re incredibly excited about our success, but we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re already gearing up for our next initiative in the Oregon special election.”

CAF has also promised to continue their work educating Americans about important issues, and to keep fighting for Conservative principles in Washington and around the nation.

Way to go CAF!
