Sarah Palin’s mentally challenged son, Trig, has been in the news this week.  As difficult as it is to imagine, a blog called Wonkette posted a piece by Jack Stuef ranting on the Todd and Sarah Palin and their young, helpless son.

The post went into all sorts of horrible rants that cannot be reproduced on this page and deemed young Trig “retarded”. On their Twitter page, they called the post: “Greatest Living American: A Children’s Treasury of Trig Crap On His Birthday”

Thursday, the Wonkette blog issued an “apology” and took down the post, but many in conservative circles are questioning its sincerity and are going after its advertisers.

This isn’t about whether or not you support or even like Sarah Palin.  It’s not about conservative or liberal politics.  This issue is basic human decency and right vs. wrong.

Just one look at the front page of Wonkette tells an intelligent reader that they routinely reach for the low blow.  They think they are edgy and willing make fun of the troubles of another for laughs.  They use overtly sexual terms like “tea bagger” and make fun of uneducated people.

Meanwhile, conservative comedian Steven Crowder,   discussed this in his weekly You Tube rant.

Editor’s Note: If you are new to Crowder’s humor, please note that he is the real deal and he takes no prisoners.  He freely admits he is a virgin and tabs pre-marital sex as fornication.  He’s a good guy and for the woman that catches him, she’s got a keeper.
