“Paulites” Annoy CPACers (Updated)
This year, Ron Paul brought in a large contingent of young people to the CPAC conference in Washington, DC. It’s always great to see young people at any conservative event. Your blogger was once one of those young CPACers back in the 80s.
There are many presidential candidates at these national events, and supporters of every one attend. We get along just fine and always have. Sometimes there is a bit of gentle teasing, but in the end, we know we will all support the GOP nominee.
Not so with the Ron Paul students. They wanted, in general, nothing to do with the rest of us. They boo’d Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. These gentlemen are American heros. Please people!
KCC’s friend, who blogs as TX Trendy Chick, had more harsh words for the young people on her blog. She says they damage property.
Update: United Liberty has an interesting take on the situation, as well.
Editor’s note: TX Trendy Chick and KCC are both proud members of Smart Girl Politics.
