Misguided Regulation Aimed at Gun Owners – More Gun Control?

Katie Trout, over at the NC Civitas Institue, has written a heck of a post regarding more gun control emerging in the United States Congress in the wake of the Arizona shootings.

Yes, we knew it would be coming, but Trout explains how Federal and even State  lawmakers want to stop or limit the sales of high capacity magazines.

She writes:

Lawmakers now appear interested in reinstating a ban that expired in 2004 which made it illegal to manufacture or sell ammunition magazines holding more than 10 rounds (also known as high-capacity ammunition clips). Loughner’s weapon had been modified to use this type of magazine.

Check out Trout’s post for the full story.
