NC Republican Exec Committee to Choose State Chairman Saturday – Jan 15
This Saturday, January 15th, members of the North Carolina Republican executive committee will meet to choose an interim party chairman. After being elected in 2008, chairman Tom Fetzer is stepping down for personal and professional reasons.
Katy’s Conservative Corner congratulates Chairman Fetzer for leading our party through the 2010 elections and managing the first GOP takeover of the North Carolina Legislature since Reconstruction. As he steps down, we look towards new leadership.
As a member of the executive committee, your blogger will be there, and will report on the action.
Announced candidates are current Vice Chairman Timothy Johnson, former Congressman Robin Hayes, and former Guilford County GOP chairman, Marcus Kindley.
