Net Neutrality: Power Grab by the FCC (video)

On December 21st, the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) reclassified the Internet as a public utility.   This power grab, known as Net Neutrality, by an executive branch agency, could impose serious  consequences for Internet users.

Americans for Prosperity is leading the charge for Congress to overturn the

decision of  three Democrats that substituted the legitimate democratic process.

This according to AFP’s vice president for policy, Phil Kerpen.
This week, your blogger  is heading to our nation’s capital to meet with the new congress and to attend a work session on Net Neutrality, all sponsored by AFP.  More coming this week!

What Can You Do Now?

1.  Sign their petition to Congress, asking them to vote to overturn Net Neutrality and to restore our freedoms.  We’ll be discussing more  in the next few days.

2. Check out the Wall Street Journal’s “Opinion Journal” video below.  It explains the issue and possible solutions.

Editor’s Note: The AFP noted in a statement that December 21st is the shortest, and thus the DARKEST, day of the year.  What an appropriate day for the FCC to make such an announcement!  Thank you, Obama administration!
