Bob Etheridge Lies Again about Renee Ellmers – NC Congress 2nd District (Video)
Your blogger was watching TV with her hubby the other night. We were relaxing, as the little one was finally in bed. However, that enjoyment was temporary as Bob Etheridge‘s latest lying ad came on blaring: “Renee Etheridge wants to raise your taxes 23%“.
Mrs. Ellmers has said repeatedly that she supports across the board tax cuts. Where did Etheridge get his erroneous information? Ellmers supports the Fair Tax, which would remove certain taxes and replace them with others, but supports a generous tax cut overall.
Etheridge’s ad is unfair, untrue, and now, unavailable.
A quick search on the Congressman’s website shows an older campaign ad, but not the most recent, and your blogger could not find a You Tube channel for him, something that nearly all candidates maintain. In fact, the only positive videos KCC could locate for the Congressman were several years old. We assume he’s a little camera shy after being caught, assaulting students on a Washington street.
What’s with the sneakiness, Bob?
Immediately, the Ellmers team began firing back! Sure, they don’t go into detail and explain the Fair Tax position. Their team knows to keep it simple and drive the point home. Bombs away, Renee!
Send the Ellmers team any love or spare change you can! She must withstand continued attacks. What was once considered an easy win by the liberals is now a targeted district.
All conservatives should consider this a call to action.

Renee should support a Flat Tax instead of the “Fair” Tax. She should be prepared to defend herself if people question her Fair Tax stance. On the other hand, Etheridge misleads the viewers when he fails to disclose that Ellmers support for a national sales tax includes doing away with the personal income tax.
