Vandalism at Wake Co NC Republican Volunteer Support Center

Vandalism has been reported at the Wake County Republican Party‘s new Victory 2010 office, on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh. Known as the “Volunteer Support Center”, the grand opening was held the same night as the damage occurred. The vandals were only able to push over the sign and damage it, as the sign is large and heavy (below).
According to Donna Williams, chairman of the Northern Wake Republican Club, the large sign was torn down in front of the office, along with other vandalism. Williams added that
Childish vandalism only makes us STRONGER and more DETERMINED.
The group is seeking a better video camera with night vision capabilities. If anyone has one to donate, please contact Donna. We have an election to win and cannot afford to waste time with those who pull silly pranks.
Additionally, volunteer to help out at the office. Williams writes that they can use help “even if it is only for an hour.”

We are getting Burr signs ripped up and/or stolen approx one to two days after we place them on roads here in Orange county. I know this is not restricted to Orange, and it seems the Dems are particularly vindictive this year and their mendacity towards Republicans shows no bounds. Durham county also is terrible; a volunteer spend three hours posting about fifty signs, only to have them almost all stolen the next day. The libs are making concerted efforts to bypass the rule of law and electoral process.
So we’ve focused more on door to door distribution of signs (although these perps also show no remorse in trampling private property to steal signs)I also am on the lookout for a hunting camera with night vision, motion activated, and solar powered. We need to catch one of these criminals in the act – situate the camera where you can get their license plate too if possible. If they are made a mockery of when caught this could be a possible deterrent, maybe.
What else can we do? These signs are money, are time, are hard effort. This is an illegal act – a misdemeanor with up to two year jail sentence. This is so wrong, and the law really needs to step up because it is happening in such large numbers now -

I made a homemade sign that was quickly disappeared.(3 or4 days) I wasn’t surprised, though.
