The Herminator Speaks
Businessman and talk show show, Herman Cain visited the blogger room this afternoon and your blogger will say one thing about him: the man is not shy. KCC taped his entire informal talk, and will post it when she returns to Raleigh, next week.
However, he is considered a serious candidate for the Presidency in 2012 on the Republican ticket but he hasn’t officially announced. When this blogger asked Cain if he was running for President, he stated I’m prayfully considering it.
After speaking for about 20 minutes on what he would do, if HE were President, bloggers gathered round asked him what they could do to convince him to run. Cain simply answered “pray”.
Look for the Cain video to be posted next week, and if KCC finds it posted sooner by a fellow blogger, she’ll post that version instead.
It’s a must see, as Cain is straight-forward, plain spoken, funny, and extremely intelligent. Don’t fall for the folksy act, as he’s as smart as can be.
Your blogger has a huge decision to make come 2012 and she’s glad that’s two years away. Her three favorites in the race for the Presidency are former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska), Rep. Mike Pence (R-Indiana), and of course Herman Cain.
If the GOP nominates Cain, that would put a black man in the race against President Obama. Your blogger never supports someone based on race, but that fact alone would certainly shut up the Democrats on the racism issue. They already think that the Tea Party people, of which Cain is a part, are the biggest bunch of racists, this side of the Klan.
Cain reminded the bloggers that the Klan was started by the Democrats and during the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960s, a much larger percentage of Republicans voted for them than did the percentages of Democrats. In short, it took the Republicans in Congress to get the Civil Rights Acts passed.
There’s much more to Cain than his race, and to part of this issue does not do the gentleman justice. Watch for the video soon, and your blogger promises much more to come on Cain, Palin, and Pence.
NOTE:
Your blogger understands that many in her audience support former House Speaker Newt Gingrich for the Presidency in 2012.
However, KCC personally feels that, while he is an excellent pundit, writer, historian, and educator, Mr. Gingrich has already had his chance. He’s already run, he’s got a negative background in that he left his wife while she was dying of cancer.
There are other reasons, but those two top the list. She feels that giving newer minds the chance is the best opportunity we conservatives have, and that we need for Gingrich to continue in his present role as an advisor. He’s too valuable to lose and she will always be his fan.

Gingrich? Ugh! I like Cain, though (NOT McCain!).
Herman Cain has a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science. So he’s a smart guy. He’s a former CEO of Godfather Pizza. So he has executive leadership experience.
And of course, he has great Conservative credentials.
